The textured finish of the rod makes it perfect for hanging curtains with grommets or clip rings. By utilizing the double rod system, you can layer curtains to control the amount of light that enters the room and enhance insulation during colder months. For layering, heavier curtains can be placed on the 3/4" diameter front rod, while lighter sheer curtains can hang on the 5/8" diameter back rod.
