TYPES OF MOUNTING: Inside mounted shades will have a 0.4-inch deduction for a proper fit in the window frame. To install inside mounted shades, a frame depth of at least 2.4 inches is required. If your frame depth is less than 2.4 inches, consider selecting an outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered to match the exact width of the area being covered. Outside mounts are commonly used when there is not enough frame depth for inside mounting. All necessary mounting hardware is included for both inside and outside mounts.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and deduct 0.4 inches when ordering. Step 2. Measure the height at the left, middle, and right side. Record the smallest measurement for ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width and add 6-10 inches for the outside mount width. Step 2. Measure the outside frame height and add 6-10 inches for the outside mount height. This overlap ensures proper coverage and prevents light gaps.
